Description of characteristics
Hydrogenated nitrile rubber (HNBR) is a kind of hydrogenated nitrile rubber (NBR) in which the hydrocarbon chain is saturated. The properties of HNBR depend on ACN content and carbon carbon bond saturation. Its main characteristics are: good heat resistance, organic peroxide vulcanization material can be used continuously for more than 1000 hours at 160 ℃ in air, but NBR loses its continuous use value at 150 ℃. It has excellent oil resistance, fuel and alcohol based fuel resistance are much better than corresponding NBR and NBR / PVC blends; low temperature resistance is better than NBR; ozone aging resistance and multi medium resistance are outstanding. The mechanical properties of NBR are better than those of NBR. It has better corrosion resistance, tensile strength, tear resistance and compression deformation characteristics
Service temperature
The application temperature of HNBR is between - 40 ℃ and 150 ℃, and the low temperature resistance of special formula can reach - 50 ℃ or high temperature resistance can reach 160 ℃.
hardness
Between 55 and 90 degrees (Shore A).
colour
Currently available in black, green, blue, brown, brown red and gray, or color specified by customers.
application
HNBR (O-type rubber seal ring) is widely used in automobile industry and refrigeration industry. For the sake of environmental protection, new refrigerants which are harmless to the ozone layer will replace the old refrigerants. In the old cooling system, Cr and FKM are widely used materials in R22 refrigeration system and mineral oil. However, Cr and FKM can not meet the requirements of updated cooling system, such as R134a, 410a, 407C and PAG lubricating oil, and HNBR is the available rubber. In the nuclear power industry, hydrogenated nitrile rubber (HNBR) can also be used as seals for nuclear power devices due to its radiation resistance.
